Halwani brothers was originally founded in 1950 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, starting as a family business primarily producing Halawa & Tahinia (a sesame sweet). It expanded into the Egyptian market by opening an integrated food manufacturing factory in Cairo, Egypt, in 1987 then expanded to poultry manufacture in 2016.
